About Me

  • Educational History:

I graduated high school from Hanson Memorial High School in Frankin, La. Class of 2001.  I went on to Louisiana State University where I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Education with a concentration in Mathematics in 2005.  I also graduated from Texas A&M where I earned my Master of Education in Educational Leadership.

  • Current Position:

I am entering my 3rd year at CMS as Assistant Principal.  Joining the Mustang family 2 years ago has been one of the greatest blessing of my professional career. I have throughly enjoyed watching our Middle School Mustangs grow and develop as they transtion from elementary babies to young adults ready to take on the new challenges of highschool.   I can’t wait to get the new school year started to welcome the new faces into the building!  If you as a parent or student have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can work together to make this the best year possilbe.

    Previous Position:

I worked at Detroit High School for 16 years as a high school math teacher.  I have enjoyed watching my students grow and glow as they have came through my classroom and moved on to create successful lives for themselves and families of their own.

  • Family Information:

I have been married to my amazing wife Dottie for 17 years. She is my rock and my reason for being.  Besides her I have two daughters, Lily and Addie.  Lily will be a Jr. at Detroit High School and Addie will be a freshman at CHS.  They are both heavily involved in their schools, church, and sports.  In their spare time they can be found at the pickle ball courts, their new found passion.

  • Personal Information:

When I’m not at school I love to watch my daughters excel in their many different activities.  If we aren’t home we are on the road traveling to some kind of athletic competition or when I’m really lucky, to the beach, my families happy place.  When I am home I’m cooking something.  Growing up in south Louisiana food and cooking is in my blood and its my favorite personal pasttime, when I can have a little time to past.
